What is Sandwichy?

The sandwich concept specializes in convenient everyday Gourmet Sandwiches, catering our youthful & modern crowd. With the finest ingredients the team at Sandwichy believes in putting quality and taste first, offering a wide range of Gourmet Sandwiches including Burgers & Shawarma, Starters, Salads and of course Desserts.

They also have a Grab&Go section where customers are served with a variety of daily ready made Sandwiches which live up to the Sandwich Concept experience.

The Challenge & Solution

Shopping for food online is not a challenge anymore, tons of websites are doing it right and we were not trying to change it here, one thing that we could really change was the way Sandwichy was using their color palette. Black and Yellow can be very interesting colors to design with but they can clash with each other very easily too.

We decided to expand the current color palette to accommodate different shades of yellow and darker colors like black to bring more contrast into the overall experience.

Black & Yellow

Whenever you use two strong colors, one has to lead the other, we bring contrast to the homepage using different elements in black to break the yellow background.

Imagery

Humans are very visual and tend to look first and ask questions later. Essentially, this means our brains will focus on the imagery before reading the wording on a website.

Loyalty Cards

An online loyalty card was created to be used only through the estore prompting users to buy online through the site.

Broken Layout

Sometime, breaking the layout can allow a little more information to be side by side while keeping it clean for your eyes.

Icons

A set of 18 icons were created for the whole estore including checkout icons, special promotions and categories icons
