What is eCleup?

eCleup offers premium eCigarettes, eLiquids, and other related accessories. The company promotes healthier living by offering better alternatives to cigarettes. With over 2000 products, the company is quickly becoming a hit among former smokers. They take pride in their advanced technology and manufacturing, as well as their top notch guarantee systems and excellent customer service. The company above all is loyal to one thing—innovation for healthier living.

The Challenge and Solution

eCigarettes and eLiquids are getting more popular by the day. The market is flooded with many offerings because of the general tendency to live healthier lives. eCleup had to find a solid way to get ahead of the curve.

The challenge here was how to create an online platform that’s different from the rest and caters to a global market. To work it out, we created an eshop that can start producing sales and results. The website covers features and interactions that mimic the ones in a physical store for a superior and pragmatic purchasing experience.

Web & Mobile

The purpose of setting up an online platform to reach a wide client base will be defeated if the website is not accessible and appropriately presented in all screen sizes. People use PCs with different screen sizes and most users even browse on their smartphones which have even smaller screens. eCleup’s website is responsive and fittingly accessible to all devices.

Brand Development

“Live Healthier,” this is the tagline of eCleup. One of the company’s primary goals is to spread awareness that there is a way out of smoking cigarettes and it is not as hard as one might think. The company logo is of a brilliant typography which perfectly captures the nature of the company with the blue smoke emanating. To convey their message, the website’s theme, web design, logos, icons etc were also made to match the company’s advocacy. The two dominant colours used, blue and white, also represent health, cleanliness, transparency and loyalty.

Products Page

The products page is of a simple form and flow, which makes it very easy for a client to navigate and browse through. A product’s photo appears as a thumbnail along with a short description of what it is and it's price. When a user hovers above it, a More Info option appears. This will redirect to the complete profile of that product. On the top left portion of the catalog, we can choose how the products are sorted. On the top right portion, we can choose how many products per page we wish to see or view all of it in just one page. This enables customers to look up the product they need in a simple and convenient fashion.

 

Product details

This page talks more comprehensively about the product. Here, we get to see photos of the product which can be enlarged. The product details include the full description of the product, price, availability and colours. Users simply have to click on Add to Cart if they want to make a purchase.

Customer’s Cart

The customer’s cart feature is very well-sorted and straightforward. It also allows you to input a coupon code if you have one available. At the bottom portion, beside the Checkout button, we see the subtotal of the items to be purchased, as well as the added tax and shipping cost. The user interface is very easy to the eye and promotes a straightforward sense.

Colours

eCleup has the colours light blue, light gray and dark gray as its overall colour scheme. This provides a very clean and soothing user interface, much like the products the company is selling. Light blue is a colour that exudes cleanliness and purity.

Typography

Typography is admittedly a very powerful design element. For eCleup we opted for a subtle and simple font, Proxima Nova. The font style switches from bold to regular in between text levels, headings, and paragraphs. Great for information hierarchy and transparency.
