What is Menagraphic?

Menagraphic is an illustration and animation agency based out of Dubai and Paris. Illustrators and cartoonists are communicators. They often use image to interpret texts or ideas, and animators use image and text together to tell a story.

Whether you are just starting to explore illustration or cartooning, want to improve or develop a professional portfolio, or want to work on a personal project, we think you’ll enjoy their offerings—and you’ll get the chance to meet other aspiring and working illustrators and comic artists.

The Challenge & Solution

We wanted to be able to create a website that speaks for itself, with assets of such quality, the only real challenge we had was to frame a story that could push you on scrolling more and more to discover the rest.

The site was broken down into three core areas, an about section, a portfolio section and a contact form, each of them using one full scope of your screen at time. The animation part was also quiet a work as we had three animators working on the project to deliver it within a month. The end result is pretty amazing, see for yourself.

Keep on scrolling

The overall story needed a few levels to push you to scroll till the end of the page, From the very dried desert landscape to the lonely caves or the burning volcanos, we created a living world on its own.

Colors

Faded colors can truly create unique experiences. We picked a very different type of color palette on this project as we wanted this world not to be something your eyes are used to.

Discovering the right way

Even the portfolio got its own place in this living world, from the place holders to the slider area, every single button that you see there was craft from scratch and carefully animated.
